Join the Jaguar Owners Club of Oregon (JOCO) and Seattle Jaguar Club (SJC) on Saturday April 22, 2023 for a drive and visit to the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle .  This joint club tour was planned by JOCO and we invited the SJC to join us.

Please register at https://www.seattlejagclub.org/events/boeing-museum-of-flight-with-joco-club  by  Sunday, April 16th so we can get a headcount for the restaurant.

ITINERARY:

Coming from Portland, Oregon – JOCO members and friends will gather in the Taco Bell parking lot at Jantzen Beach at 7:15 AM. Departure time from Portland is 7:45 AM. There is no limit to the number of participants for this event. Taco Bell address: 12237 N Jantzen Drive, Portland, Oregon. There should be both food and fuel available, if needed, in the immediate area prior to our scheduled departure time. The weather will be a roll of the dice, so daily drivers rather than our Jags may be the better choice for this event. The drive should be around three to three and a half hours, including rest stops.

JOCO and SJC members and friends will then meet at 10:45am for lunch at the Bahama Breeze Restaurant at 15700 Southcenter Pkwy, Tukwila, WA 98188. Scroll through their large menu   Entrees | Menu | Bahama Breeze

After lunch, we will all head to the Boeing Museum of Flight at 9404 E Marginal Way S, Seattle, WA 98108.  Home | The Museum of Flight

PLEASE NOTE:

Our reservation at Bahama Breeze is limited to 40 people (20 per club). IF you are late registering, you may join as a “walk-in” patron, or proceed directly to the Museum of Flight and select food options from their cafeteria menu.

We will have a FREE 1-hour guided tour and more time to roam on your own as well. Highlight displays at the Museum include President Kennedy’s Air Force One, a Concorde, a “warbird collection” from both WWI and WWII set in period-correct dioramas. The main gallery includes a Lockheed A-12 with drone (the A-12 is the predecessor of the SR-71 spy plane, the world’s fastest manned aircraft).  When you go to their website, look at VISIT/TOURS & EXPERIENCES and check out the Spacequest VR and Flight Simulators for fun things to do during your visit.  The i360 rotates 360 degrees for the more adventurous in the group!   Bring your camera and comfortable walking shoes.

Some participants may choose to stay overnight and return at their leisure on Sunday. If so, there are some commendable lodgings in the Renton and Tacoma areas.
