This 1997 Jaguar XK8 coupe is an original owner car purchased new from Monte Shelton Motors in 1997.  There is a complete history of all maintenance and repairs from 1997 to the present including the original window sticker and purchase order and all automotive manuals.  The car has 115,000 miles on the odometer and has been meticulously maintained by the owner. The exterior is a beautiful Brooklands metallic green- repainted in 2014- over a beige leather interior and is powered by the 4.0-liter V8.  The water pump and timing chain tensioners were replaced in 2014.  The original five-speed automatic transmission was replaced with the recommended  six-speed transmission in 2012. The interior is in excellent condition with some minor wear on the driver’s seat.  All mechanicals, electronics and AC are fully functional with the exception of the radio.  In September, 2024, the car went through a complete refurbishment at King’s Cross Automotive in Vancouver, WA. Included in the refurbishment were the annual service and full vehicle inspection, LOF and draining and replacement of all other fluids (brakes, steering, coolant etc.), new sparkplugs and coils, transmission and differential flush, a new set of tires, full GDI service to carbon clean valves and ports, removal and replacement of valve cover gaskets and fuel system cleaning.  Total cost was $5,037.00 and the invoice for the work performed is available for review.  The owner is in her 80’s and can no longer drive the car. This XK8 is offered by the seller for $9,500.00 with a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.
