This award has been created by the JOCO Board to encourage every club member to help invigorate the club by creating events (and carrying them through) that will bring members (and their cars) out to an event that will, in one form or other, be entertaining, informative, fun, and help others discover something new and interesting. This could, for example, be an indoor event, a (short) guided nature walk, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Oregon Coast Aquarium, a show-and-shine and guided tour of the Japanese Gardens (if they allow car shows in their upper parking lot), etc.

Purpose of award:
First: To encourage more events and activities for the club calendar and to acknowledge the effort for planning and executing any group event that is not an ongoing calendar event for the Club (ie: AGM, ABFM, Christmas party etc.)
Second: To encourage all members to propose, plan, and carry out driving events for the Club members to participate in. The award is…
Awarded annually
1 Recipient should be a member of JOCO (exceptions can be made with the approval of the Board)
2 Proposed by, voted on, and awarded by the Board
3 Criteria of award:
A Must be a driving event(either a tour, or driving to/from an event such as a museum/car collection tour)
B Based on a vote of JOCO Board
C Limit consideration & voting to four or five events per calendar year
D Awardee will be selected prior to the Club’s Christmas holiday party
5 Any event that has conceived, planned, and carried out by one person (two people could be eligible if a spouse/significant other that makes significant contributions)
6 May be awarded to a full or associate member (Jaguar vehicle ownership encouraged, but not required)
7 Award presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
8 The award is permanent trophy, not a dual trophy like the Fox-Bagley (one permanent trophy & a second trophy retained by the awardee)

B This award was announced and implemented at the 2024 AGM. The first presentation will be made at the 2025 AGM
In a nutshell, this is only for driving events where participants will drive to, from (or both), a specific event/venue, or the event itself is a driving event (e.g. a covered bridge tour where the various bridges are the main attraction).
